Dark Chocolate Avocado Mousse (Sugar-Control Friendly)

Rich, velvety, and indulgent—without the guilt. This creamy mousse blends ripe avocados with deep dark chocolate for a silky dessert that’s naturally lower in sugar, packed with healthy fats, and surprisingly satisfying.


  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 60–70g dark chocolate (70–85% cocoa, low sugar)
  • 2–3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2–3 tbsp milk (almond milk or any preferred milk)
  • 2–3 tbsp natural sweetener (stevia, erythritol, or honey if preferred)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Step 1: Melt the chocolate

Gently melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave (in 20-second intervals, stirring in between). Let it cool slightly.

Step 2: Prepare the avocado base

Scoop the avocado flesh into a blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Combine ingredients

Add melted chocolate, cocoa powder, milk, sweetener, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

Step 4 : Blend until silky

Blend again until the mixture is rich, smooth, and mousse-like. Scrape down sides if needed.

Step 5: Taste & adjust

Adjust sweetness or cocoa intensity as per preference.

Step 6: Chill & serve

Transfer to serving bowls and refrigerate for at least 30–60 minutes for best texture.
